La scorsa settimana ho avuto il piacere di mettere mano sulla XL1200C di un vecchio amico. Persona simpaticissima ed amante delle cromature ed in particolare della sua moto, mi ha chiesto di sistemargli qualche piccolo dettaglio. Come dire di no? Così la centralina ECM che era posizionata in una rudimentale scatoletta metallica posta sotto la sella è finita di fianco alla batteria. Il sottosella è stato ricostruito secondo lo stile Crazyoils ed il manubrio originale è stato sostituito da uno leggermente più largo e più alto, con cablaggio interno e tutti i cavi in treccia d'acciaio rivestita. Lavoretto da poco, se vogliamo, nella norma, ma il risultato lascia sempre soddisfatti.

Last week I had the pleasure to fix an old friend's bike. It's a 2007 XL1200C that needed minor changes. So I moved the ECM that was placed underneat the seat next to the battery. Then the under seat pan has been recreated by Crazyoils nice and smooth. The OEM handlebar has been replaced by a larger and higher one. All the wiring is now internal and all the cables and brake line are now stainless steel covered. Well, nothing special I would say. But it's something really special for its owner and we are very happy that he loves it.
