1988 FXSTS SOFTAILSPRINGER

I've been working bits and pieces on this 1988 FXSTS Softail Springer since last September. I had to fix pretty much everything but the engine that was running great. But the rest has been fixed or changed in order to turn it into a nice and safe classic bobber. I did the entire wiring and electrical system with Accel solenoid and coil, new bearings all over, new hoses and cables. New paint job with the original logos of the 85th Anniversary that I was secretly keeping in a drawer. And finally I added a few custom touches such as the Westernbull solo seat and bag, a Goodson style air cleaner and a Crime Scene Choppers taillight. Now it just needs to hit the road.

2012 FXS SOFTAIL BLACK LINE CHROME

I spent the past two months working on this project. It started out of a 2012 FXS Softail Black Line. Its owner wanted it to be more bling and chrome. But also he wanted a nice cool chopper. So now you are looking at the first step of the job. In a few hours it can be converted into a chopper with handmade fenders, streteched gas tank and a solo seat. The second step is now being painted so I'm just as curious as you to see how it will turn out. I've seen it only in its raw version and it looks terrific. We'll see. But so far a lot of work has been done. If you pay attention you will see all the nice details. Discacciati floating rotors, Progressive Suspension front springs and lowering kit, Arlen Ness lower legs, Panhead head covers, Screamin Eagle air cleaner, Vance & Hines Exhaust, lots of chrome all over from the engine carters and covers to the oil tank to the rear swingarm, hidden LED turn signals, Crime Scene Choppers taillight, custom leather seat, white walls, and a lot more. Now let's wait to see the other face of the medal.
