NOBLESSE OBLIGE

Avete presente il film Ratatouille? Credo sia veramente raro trovare un ristorante in cui lo Chef in persona viene al tavolo a prendere le ordinazioni e mentre ti consiglia, ti fa sognare ed emozionare al solo nominare certe prelibatezze. Beh, è quello che mi è capitato ieri sera ad una cena con la mia famiglia in questo piccolo ristorante milanese che si chiama Noblesse Oblige. E dopo aver pregustato i piatti elencati e deciso  fatica cosa ordinare, ho atteso volentieri e con pazienza per poi davvero gustare sapori unici creati con sapienza e stile come solo un vero maestro d'arte sa fare. Quindi non può solo che farmi piacere condividere con voi questa esperienza consigliandovi di andare a visitare questo locale per una cena davvero eccellente. E se non sapete cosa scegliere, lasciatevi stupire dallo Chef. Dubito che rimarrete delusi.

Do you remember the movie Ratatouille? I think it's really difficult nowadays to find a restaurant where the Chef himself comes to your table to take the order and when he tells you about the variuos choices on the menu you litterally dream and get excited about it. Well this is exactly what happened to me last night when I went to this place in Milan called Noblesse Oblige to have dinner with my family. And after ordering I had no problems waiting an extra minute to be served because then I tasted flavours that only a real master can mix in such a way. And this is why I'm here now telling you about this little restaurant. If you want to have a superb dinner try to go there, and if you don't know what to choose then let the Chef surprise you. I'm sure you'll love it.

XR1200 LED SPOILER

Lo so che è contro ogni buon gusto, eppure ci siamo divertiti a mettere i LED dentro il puntale dell'XR1200 del nostro amico e ne siamo molto soddisfatti. E' stato bello creare il supporto per l'interruttore, quasi invisibile e molto pratico, sul morsetto dei riser. Da qui partono due fili nascosti che accendono due gruppi di LED posizionati dietro le griglie dello spoiler. Ovviamente supporti e spoiler sono stati realizzati a mano da Crazyoils. E vedeste che effetto fa al buio!

I know you will not like this but we had some fun installing LED lights under the spoiler of our friend's XR1200 and we are very happy about it. It' been nice to create the switch support that fits perfectly under the handlebar clamp and hiding two groups of LED lights behind the two grills of the spoiler. Everything is hand made by Crazyoils, the supports, the spoiler the grills. And you should see how nice it looks when it's dark!

2009 FXDC DYNA SUPERGLIDE CUSTOM GRILLED HEADLIGHT TRIM

Cominciamo la settimana con la FXDC di Mario alla quale abbiamo aggiunto una ghiera del faro opportunamente grigliata dalle sapienti mani di The Creech. Certo che sul faro da 7" fa la sua bella figura, e si abbina perfettamente al batwing che gli abbiamo montato qualche giorno fa.

Let's start the new week with Mario's FXDC. We installed a grilled headlight trim that my pal The Creech created for our common friend. It really looks fat and mean on the 7" headlight, and perfectly matches with the batwing that we installed last week.

XL883R 2007 - THE BREMBO CHAPTER

Ed ecco come si presenta oggi la moto di Paolo di Duecilindri dopo l'ultimo trattamento. Gli scarichi Supertrapp 2 in 2 Megaphone li avevate già visti, ma non ancora alla luce del sole. Finalmente gli scarichi alti danno risalto a due vecchi pezzettini Crazyoils, il tendicinghia con la nuova ruota da skate rossa ed il paramotore. Ma la nostra ultima piccola creazione sono i supporti per le doppie pinze Brembo "rubate" ad una Ducati 999R, che si sposano perfettamente con i dischi flottanti Discacciati ed i tubi avio Goodridge. Due set di pastiglie nuove SBS Street Racing sinterizzate ed il nostro amico è servito, almeno per questa settimana...

And this is how Paolo's bike looks after the last treatment by Crazyoils. You've already seen the Supertrapp 2 into 2 Megaphone pipes but not in the sun light yet. The higher pipes finally give justice to two old Crazyoils pieces: the belt tensioner made with a brand new red skate wheel and the engine guard. But the real new little creations are the two brakets that support two Brembo brake calipers that have been "stolen" from a Ducati 999R and that perfectly match with the two Discacciati floating rotors and Goodridge braided brake lines. Two brand new sets of SBS Street Racing braking pads and our friend is ready to hit the asphalt, at least for the next week...

Come sembrano più belle le cose (e le persone) quando passano sotto la lente di un fotografo professionista. Decisamente le foto in studio rendono bene. Luci, sfondi, modella, trucco, postproduzione. Un vero e proprio servizio fotografico in grande stile. La moto in questione ovviamente e per puro caso è quella di Paolo di Duecilindri. Things (and girls) look different and much nicer when there is a professional photographer that is taking the pictures. Lights, shades, backgrounds, makeup, model, digital editing. This was a real pro studio photo shoot. Of course the bike is Paolo's of Duecilindri. FLSTF SOFTAIL FAT BOY 15TH ANNIVERSARY NEW TAIL LIGHT

Basta poco per migliorare la linea estetica di una moto. E' il caso di questa splendida FLSTF Fat Boy di un vecchio amico che decisamente era inguardabile nella parte posteriore. Un nuovo faro della Kuryakyn con profilo ribassato, un semplice spostamento targa ed una ritoccata alla verniciatura del parafango ed ecco che la moto assume una linea molto più filante e pulita.

It doesn't take much to improve to look of a bike. This is the case of this beautiful FLSTF Fat Boy of an  old friend of ours. The rear of the bike was definitely sticking out too much. I replaced the tail light with a Kuryakyn Laydown one, repositioned the licence plate under the light and retouched the paint of the fender. Much better now, nice and smooth.
