2003 BUELL XB9SX TORQUE KIT

Questo giro mi sono divertito a montare un kit Torque della Freespirits e a modificare leggermente una vecchia Buell XB9SX del 2003. Devo ammettere che il kit torque fa davvero la differenza. Anche se la moto in questione è già stata modificata in scarico, filtro e centralina, i nuovi puleggia e pignone in lega superleggera e rinforzata danno ancora almeno un buon 10% in più di potenza che si sente realmente. Divertimento puro. Qualche ritocco al colore dei cerchi e delle pedane che sono stati riverniciati in nero micaceo a polvere e le nuove gomme Pirelli Diablo Rosso Corsa bimescola hanno trasformato questo giocattolo in un super toy da sparo.

This time I really had fun playing with this 2003 Buell XB9SX. The bike has already been upgraded with air cleaner, exhaust and ECM but I decided to give it a little more kick with a Torque Kit produced by Freespirits. Awesome! It really gives it another 10% more extra power and you can really feel it. Plus I gave it a better look by powdercoating the wheels and foot guards. The new Pirelli Diablo Rosso Corsa tires with a special double mesh keep it glued to the groung. It used to be a nice little bike, now it's a super fast toy.

NUOVISSIME PINZE DISCACCIATI HP - BRAND NEW DISCACCIATI HP BRAKE CALIPERS

In anteprima mondiale assoluta vi presento le nuovissime pinze a quattro pistoni HP della Discacciati. Qual'è la particolarità? Sono state studiate appositamente per i modelli Touring per poter dare il massimo della frenata e della sicurezza su moto decisamente molto pesanti. Derivate dalle pinze radiali che vengono utilizzate in Superbike sono solide e compatte, con il vantaggio di avere quattro pistoncini in ergal forati per aumentare la ventilazione e migliorare il raffreddamento sotto sforzi elevati. A detta del Sig. Enrico Discacciati sono tra le migliori pinze che abbiano mai prodotto. La scritta HP starebbe per Horse Power nel senso che sono adatte a frenare anche i motori più potenti. A me piace anche pensare che significhi High Performance. Per tutti i modelli Harley-Davidson Touring dal 2008 ad oggi.

These are the first pics of the brand new HP four piston brake calipers produced by Discacciati Brake System. They took the same technology they utilize on Superbike radial calipers and applied it to these unique High Performance brake calipers that are specifically designed for the heavy Touring models. Specially drilled pistons deliver maximum pressure with super fast ventilation to keep low temperatures even while stopping heavy loads. Mr. Enrico Discacciati is stoked. According to him these are some of the best brake calipers ever produced. HP stands for Horse Power meaning that these beauties can contrast the strong horse power engines of the new Touring models. They fit on all 2008-up Harley-Davidson Touring models.

Domani farò un upgrade alla già super accessoriata Sportster di Paolo di Duecilindriblog. Pompa radiale Discacciati con serbatoio esterno e tappo in alluminio rigorosamente Discacciati. Un gran bel prodotto che non vedo l'ora di montare.

Tomorrow I'm gonna install this brand new Discacciati radial master cylinder on the super tuned Sportster of Paolo of Duecilindriblog. It's a great piece and I can't wait to see how well it works.

2006 TRIUMPH BONEVILLE - THE CREECH WAY

Crazyoils è orgoglioso di presentare il primo progetto completamente portato a termine dal mio grande amico The Creech. Partendo da una Triumph Boneville tutta di serie è riuscito in breve tempo e con un bassissimo impatto economico a tirare fuori una motina che già si fa notare in giro per le strade Milanesi. Parafanghi tagliati, drag bar, pedane fatte a mano e ricavate dal pieno, sella, codino, frecce, ed una splendida colorazione. Anche gli scarichi sono stati ricavati dagli originali, tagliati e ricostruiti con un ottimo sound ed una miglior performance. Davvero complimenti!

Crazyoils is proud to present the first project entirely performed by my great friend The Creech. He took a full stock Triumph Boneville and converted it into a nice street racer that is already taking the scene on the streets of Milan. Shortened fenders, drag bar, custom taillight and turn signals, handmade footpegs, seat, and a beautiful classy paintjob. Even the original pipes have been cut and rebuilt for a stronger sound and better perfomance. Very well done my friend!

SABBIATURE E VERNICIATURE - SANDBLATING AND POWDERCOATING

A volte mi diverto a sabbiare un sacco di pezzi e poi farli verniciare a polvere. Sono curioo di vedere il risultato finale.

Sometimes I just have fun sandblasting a bunch of parts and then get them powercoated. Can't wait to see the final result.

2009 XR1200

Un ritocco di colore ad una vecchia conoscenza. Mancava ancora qualcosa a questa splendida XR1200. Il frontalino ed il parafanfo anteriori sono stati verniciati di nero lucido mentre i fiachetti hanno ricevuto anche l'aggiunta di una striscia a scacchi che ne enfatizza il carattere corsaiolo.

A bit of extra vivid black on this old friend's bike makes it look even better. The front mask and front fender have been repainted and also the two side covers but with a touch of racing white too.

ACCEL

La vecchia bobina era crepata a metà ed il vecchio modulo di accensione era bruciato. Sostituendo tutto con materiale Accel di alta qualità abbinato a candele U-groove e cavi candele da 8,8mm in silicone e grafitenon solo ho risolto i problemi ma ho migliorato notevolmente le prestazioni della moto.

The old coil was cracked and the old ignition module was fried. I replaced everything with Accel parts and added U-groove spark plugs and 8,8mm silicone wires. This way I not only solved the problem but also improved the performance of the bike.

1991 FXSTS SOFTAIL SPRINGER BOBBER

Alcuni di voi hanno già visto questo bel bobber in giro a fiere, raduni o sulle riviste. Il suo proprietario mi ha chiesto di apportare alcune modifiche tipo cambiare il manubrio ed il fanale anteriore e fare un controllo generale. Dopo aver risolto un bel po' di problemi a cominciare dall'intero impianto elettrico ed aver apportato qualche miglioria tipo bobina Accel e relativo modulo di accensione, questo è il risultato.

Some of you may have seen this bike around or on magazines. Its owner asked me to make a few changes such as replacing the handlebar and front headlight, and fix a few things. After rebuilding the whole wiring system and replacing coil and ignition module with some Accel ones this is the final result.

2001 FLSTS HERITAGE SOFTAIL SPRINGER

Tra una corsa ed un salto mortale abbiamo trovato anche il tempo di fare un sottosella speciale ed unico per una FLSTS Heritage Softail Springer del 2001 di un amico. Come al solito ci è voluto un po' di tempo per studiare la soluzione migliore che fosse semplice da installare, che funzionasse al meglio e che fosse bella esteticamente. Alla fine abbiamo ammirato con orgoglio un'altra creazione marchiata Crazyoils.

Busy, busy, busy. Big bikes, small bikes and we also found the time to create a special under seat pan for a 2001 FLSTS Heritage Softail Springer of a friend of ours. As always we designed it and then molded, welded and grinded steel to get the best out of it in terms of functionality and beauty. At the end both of us and our friend were stoked about the new Crazyoils piece.
