2004 FXDL DYNA LOW RIDER CRAZYOILS SPECIAL PAINT

Questa è la FXDL Dyna Low Rider di un amico che, con la scusa di una piccola ammaccatura sul parafango posteriore, ha deciso di riverniciare completamente. Già che si doveva fare il lavoro, perchè non dargli un nuovo e più accattivante aspetto. Grazie a Photoshop e a Marco di M8 Design gli propongo una serie di nuove grafiche tenendo conto dei suoi gusti. Una viene immediatamente approvata e messa in lavorazione nelle abili mani di Ale di New Design 05. Un lavoro delicato, ma alla fine il risultato ed il sorriso smagliante dell'amico mi danno prova dell'ottimo lavoro svolto. Qui potete ben vedere come era la Dyna prima e come è stata riconsegnata. Con l'aggiunta di borse, ferri borse e riposizionamento frecce custom made by Crazyoils.

Se avete voglia di cambiare look alla vostra moto, non esitate a contattarmi e ad espormi i vostri desideri. Sarà possibile in poco tempo farvi vedere la bozza di come potrebbe venire la nuova grafica. Dal rendering alla realizzazione poi, il passo è breve e la qualità sempre rigorosamente eccellente.

This is the 2004 FXDL Dyna Low Rider of friend. With the excuse of a chip on the rear fender, he decided to give it a whole new look. So I've worked out a new graphic together with my friend Marco at M8 Design and after the final approval I had it realized by my faithful painter Ale of New Design 05. It turned out to be a hard and delicate work but at the end the result was awesome and my friend  was stoked. The pics show how the bike was and how it looks now. I also added saddlebags, new mini bullet rear turn signals and custom made saddlebags supports.

Sto lavorando su una BMW R80 GS del 1991 che ha bisogno di una bella ripulita. Così mi sono dovuto attrezzare ed ho comprato una chiave speciale direttamente in Germania per smontare le ghiere degli scarichi. Trovo che sia un oggetto affascinante, roba di altri tempi. Ma l'importante è che funziona a meraviglia!

I'm currently working on a 1991 BMW R80 GS that needs a good and deep clean up. So I had to buy a special tool directly from Germany to remove the exhaust collars. It's a fascinating tool. Something cool and unique. And it works perfectly!

2003 FXSTB NIGHT TRAIN - FREEDOM PERFORMANCE AND S&S

Dopo quasi una settimana a casa con l'influenza non ho saputo resistere al lavoretto del sabato mattina ed ho montato questi nuovissimi scarichi Freedom Performance Independence ed il classico filtro a goccia S&S su questo Night Train del 2003.

After almost a week in bed with a flu I couldn't resist and went to the shop for a Saturday morning job. So I installed these brand new Freedom Perfomance Independence exhaust and S&S teardrop air cleaner on this 2003 FXSTB Night Train.

Buellina. Dopo aver installato il kit torque di Freespirits ho completato l'opera cun un bello scarichino aperto e tanti accessori Rizoma.

Nice little Buell. After installing the torque kit by Freespirits I ended up the work with a short exhaust and lots of Rizoma details.

BUELL XB12SS KIT TORQUE BY FREE SPIRITS

Kit Torque per Buell prodotto da Free Spirits. Riduce di poco la velocità ma aumenta notevolmente la coppia della vostra moto grazie ad un nuovo pignone da 32 denti ed una nuova catena primaria. Di facile installazione e non richiede ricalibrazioni degli strumenti.

The Torque Kit by Free Spirits slightly reduces the top speed while providing a lot more torque thanks to a new 32 teeth sprocket and primary chain. It's easy to install and doesn't require a recalibration of the instruments.

Yesterday I took a photo shoot of the BMW R80RT Crazyoils Special together with photographer Federico Sgarbossa. Now all the pics are in post production. This is only a sample. 1983 BMW R80RT CRAZYOILS SPECIAL - FINAL CHAPTER

Adoro prendere vecchie moto e vedere in loro nuove forme e nuova vita. E' il caso di questa BMW R80RT del 1983 sulla quale ormai sto lavorando da quasi tre mesi. Volevo fare qualcosa di diverso dalle solite modifiche. Volevo forse vivere una nuova avventura ed una nuova sfida. E così ho osato, un po' alla cieca. Mi sono addentrato nel mondo delle BMW, di questi motoroni tedeschi tanto diversi dalle Harley che mi accompagnano ormai da più di dieci anni. Ed ho scoperto un nuovo mondo, fatto di semplicità costruttiva e di meccanica di base. Semplicemente affascinante. Smontare completamente questa moto e modificare, sostituire o ricondizionare ogni sua singola parte è stato fantastico. E' il bello di lavorare mossi da grande passione per quello che si fa. E poi alla fine si gode infinitamente del risultato ottenuto. Ed è già un ricordo, un bel ricordo. Sono seduto sul mio divano a scrivere queste parole e cerco di rammentare il giorno in cui ho cominciato ad allentare il primo bullone. E poi il secondo, e più andavo avanti più l'entusiasmo cresceva. E le idee mi balzavano per la testa freneticamente ma naturalmente. Così come fin da subito avevo in mente come doveva venire, a grandi linee. Poi in fase di costruzione capita spesso che le cose cambino, specialmente su una moto di trent'anni. Ed ancora una volta ho ceduto alla mia meticolosità e non ho voluto lasciare niente al caso, nemmeno le rondelle più piccole. Tutti i cuscinetti, i paraoli, le guarnizioni sono stati sostituiti. Tutta la bulloneria e le rondelle, nuove in acciaio inox. Le sospensioni posteriori sono fornite da Oram così come quelle anteriori, progressive. Tutte le parti, dai cerchi ai carter al motore stesso, sono state pulite, sgrassate e lucidate a mano. Il telaio sabbiato e riverniciato, così come tanti piccoli particolari. Il telaio posteriore ricostruito da zero, più stretto, corto e resistente. Nuovi i parafanghi in alluminio, la fanaleria, la strumentazione, le tubazioni dei freni avio della Goodridge. E poi la grande scocca Racer che unisce serbatoio e sella in un pezzo unico. Sella in vera pelle, costruita e cucita artigianalmente. Ed infine la abile verniciatura di New Design 05 che ha saputo interpretare meravigliosamente le mie richieste. Ed eccola lì, nella penombra, la mia nuova creatura. La prima Special Crazyoils su base BMW.

I love to take old stock bikes and to give them a whole new look and life. It's the case of this 1983 BMW R80RT. I've been working on it for the past three months. I wanted to make something different from the special bikes that I've seen around. I wanted a new adventure. I loved every single moment of the job. Disassembling, replacing, modifying, creating parts for this bike has been a lot of fun. And I'm stoked about the final result. I had some ideas in mind but most of them came up while working on the bike. I wanted to refresh the whole thing but when you start working on a bike that is thirty years old you must be ready to replace and fix a lot of parts. All the bearings, seals and gaskets have been replaced. All the nuts and bolts are now stainless steel. Many parts have been sandblasted and powdercoated or painted. The rear shocks are new and made by Oram. The front fork spings are progressive ones by HyperPro.  The rear frame has been created by hand to fit and hold the Racer gastank/seat. All the lights are new. Fenders are handmade from aluminum sheets. The seat is handmade with real leather. The brake lines are by Goodridge. And finally the painting of the gas tank by New Design05 gives it the final touch. It is simple and rough yet very classical and elelegant. This is the first full special that I've built out of a BMW. Hope it's the first of long series.
